Organized

The New Sound Of Wes Dakus. Cool fuzz on both sides by Edmonton's finest. See if you can guess the song they copied on the B-Side

It sounds like they copied a Byrds song, but I can't think of the title.

Hi Ed

This is not actually Wes Dakus or The Rebels, in spite of what it says on the label.

It's actually a studio band led by Ben Benay (the writer of the songs), from Gary Paxton's studio.

The story goes that Wes needed one last single for his Capitol contract, but the band had more or less dissolved, so they just got these tapes and released them as by them.

Anyway, that's what Ray Schwartz told me.

Cheers,

Marc (Canada)
